Definition/ Meaning/ Explanation
A bias displayed by the respondents in research which affects the validity of surveys and interviews. The subjective element associated with the way the respondents perceive the immediate environment during the research; the phrasing of the questions, the demeanour of the researchers etc., are part of this bias.
