Definition/ Meaning/ Explanation
A form of cognitive bias where people with inferior abilities mistakenly believe themselves to be superior to others. The main cause is the inability of such individuals to correctly assess their self-worth and compare it with their peers. It is also a barrier in learning and development as such people are unable to improve themselves without a realization of the need to do so.
